Welcome to the North Ridgeville Office for Older Adults (Senior Center) where all our "Young at Heart" seniors gather for an abundance of activities! We offer delicious low-cost meals, plenty of smiling faces, and an activity to suit any personality. Spaghetti Dinner Spaghetti Dinner, January 28, 2022
The Senior Center will be hosting a Spaghetti Dinner from 5-7 PM on January 28, 2022 sponsored by Rotary Club of North Ridgeville. Enjoy our famous meal of spaghetti, sauce and meatballs, garlic bread and salad. Adults $7.00, Seniors $6.00 and Children 10 and under $4.00; dessert $1.00, pop $.50 extra and carry out is available. Pre-sale tickets are available for purchase at the Senior Center.
We Want Your Feedback North Ridgeville Parks and Recreation Looking for Your Feedback
North Ridgeville Parks and Recreation Department is looking for your feedback regarding our Tri-Annual Program Guide. For a long time you have been receiving our program guide through your utility bill, either via mail or email. We are looking at a digital option only in 2022. If you could answer this short 1 question survey it would be appreciated. Your feedback will help us determine whether we go strictly digital or keep printing a hard copy. We appreciate your input and thank you for making North Ridgeville Parks and Recreation your recreation destination.
Men's Breakfast Men's Breakfast Schedule
It’s a wonderful morning of friendship at our Men’s Breakfast. If you are 55 or older, join us at 9 AM for a hot entrée, coffee, fruit cup, and juice are all included for the $3.00 price. It’s a fun-filled morning of good food, fellowship and a wonderful speaker or entertainment. To make reservations, please call (440) 353-0828 by 10 AM Wednesday morning.  
Ladies Brunch Ladies Brunch Schedule
Ladies brunch is held monthly and includes entertainment along with a hot entrée, fruit, juice and coffee for only $3.

AARP Tax Prep Aide AARP Tax Prep Aide
The Senior Center will begin scheduling appointments for AARP Tax Preparation on January 3, 2022. The appointments will be held on Tuesdays beginning February 1 at 9 AM and the last appointment will be on Tuesday, April 5, 2022. Call the front desk at (440) 353-0828 to schedule. 
Music Bingo Music Bingo, February 23, 2022
Music Bingo returns with fun and prizes for our February 23, 2022 after lunch entertainment! There will be hits for you to reminisce about and sing along! Reservations are a must. Please call the front desk (440) 353-0828 and bring a friend. If you are unable to join us for lunch please feel free to come for Music Bingo starting at 12:30 PM. Cards will commence as usual after lunch.
Olympics Intergenerational Olympics, February 25, 2022
In the spirit of the 2022 Winter Olympics join us for Intergenerational Olympics on February 25, 2022 from 10 AM until Noon. 
Tai Chi Tai Chi for Arthritis and Fall Prevention
Michael W. Stadul will be conducting a six-week session, Tai Chi for Arthritis and Fall Prevention, beginning January 6 through February 10, 2022. 
Indoor Walking Indoor Walking at Liberty Elementary School
The weather outside may be frightful but we have an answer! Liberty Elementary School, 5700 Jaycox Road, will be hosting indoor walking Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 6-7:30 PM. Masks are required. Lace up your tennis shoes and come take a walk!
Movies Movies, Movies, Movies
Join us for a movie at noon! Popcorn, candy and soda will be provided or you can bring your own lunch or snack. 
Taco Tuesday Trivia Taco and Trivia Tuesday!
Join us at 12 noon for a Mexican inspired lunch on January 4, January 18, February 1 and February 15, 2022. Trivia will start at 12:30 PM and the cost per person is $4.00. We will make it mild so if you want it spicy, bring your own hot sauce!  Reservations are requested by calling (440) 353-0828.

Midweek social is a lot of fun with lunch, cards and/or bingo!  On Wednesdays come at noon for a delicious hot lunch served from 12:00-12:15 PM to include an entrée, dessert and beverage for $4. Reservations are required by calling (440) 353-0828 by noon on Tuesday.
CardioDance CardioDance Is A Hit!
We are happy to announce that instructor, Carrie will be back on Tuesdays beginning January 4 through February 8, 2022 for a new CardioDance session. The 6-week sessions will be $30 per person. Payments can be made in cash or check made payable to NR Office for Older Adults. Registration can be done in person up until January 3, 2022. Please call (440) 353-0828 for more information.
Indoor Walking Indoor Walking, LCCC University Partnership Ridge Campus & Liberty Elementary
Every Thursday from 6-7:30 PM starting October 28, 2021 through March 24, 2022, put your walking shoes on and participate in the indoor walking at LCCC UPRC located at 32121 Lorain Road in North Ridgeville.  Every Tuesday and Thursday from 6-7:30 PM starting January 4 through March 22, indoor walking at Liberty Elementary, 5700 Jaycox Road in North Ridgeville. Walking Warriors Walking Warriors Every Tuesday
Join our Walking Warriors every Tuesday morning at 10 AM.  We will take a nice walk around South Central Park. Meet at the center and sign in, then we will cross the street as a group. Feel free to bring a friend or come alone and make some new ones!  All levels of fitness are welcome. You can go at your own pace. Call the front desk at 440-353-0828 to let us know you are coming so we don’t leave anyone behind.
Free Blood Pressure Screening Blood Pressure Checks
Blood pressure checks are available on the first Wednesday of every month from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM. Please stop in and see our lovely volunteer nurses. If you have your blood pressure logs or cards please bring them with you. 
Total Foot Care Foot Clinic
Dr. Thomas Emmert, Podiatrist of Total Foot Care, will resume Foot Clinics at the Senior Center on January 12, 2022 at 9:00 AM.  His next visit is scheduled for March 23, 2022.  Appointments are on a first come first served basis by signing in at the front desk upon your arrival. If this is your first visit with the doctor, it is recommended that you contact Dr. Emmert's office at 216-529-1800 to insure they have the necessary information.  The cost of the clinic is usually covered by Medicare and supplemental insurance.

Be sure to check out our updated Magazine & Book Nook Library, offering books and magazines for reading. Feel free to take something home, just return it when you are done.

Are you interested in art or just enjoy painting freestyle?  Our watercolor enthusiasts gather for painting and fun on Wednesday mornings and would love to have you join their group. Mahjongg Meets Every Thursday image Mahjongg Meets Every Thursday

“Mahjongg” is an Ancient Chinese Tile Game. This group meets every Thursday at 12 noon (except on Super Thursdays) and always welcomes new members. If you've never played, we offer instruction as to how to play the game. A player's card is required for a small fee.

The Senior Center will be hosting Puzzle Exchange the last Tuesday of each month from 11 AM-12:00 PM. Puzzled by what to do with those completed puzzles? Bring your stack of completed puzzles (limit of 3) and exchange with others or you are welcome to take as many as you'd like.
