Welcome to the Office for Older Adults. Established in 1978, the mission of the office is to facilitate opportunities for older adults to be healthy, engaged and vibrant citizens. We offer a variety of activities covering physical health and wellness, social events and parties, lunch and learns, lecture series, speakers and entertainment, art expression, hot lunches and breakfast. Please stop by and pick up a newsletter or speak with a staff member to find out more. Anyone 55 or older is invited to join our vital and vibrant community for programs and events. Individuals must be 60 or older to receive social services such as transportation and Meals-On-Wheels, in addition to program specific eligibility.
INCLEMENT WEATHER POLICY AND CANCELLATIONS
We do not follow NRCS school closures and will remain open for all scheduled activities. Please exercise caution and common sense when deciding to venture out in bad weather. If you feel it is too dangerous for you to go out due to extreme cold or questionable road conditions, then please stay safe at home. Our Facebook page will be updated by 8:00 a.m. with our status, and you can always call our front desk at (440) 490-2056 to verify an activity is still being held. If a class instructor cancels for any reason, you will be notified as soon as possible.
