The mission of the North Ridgeville Fire Department is to provide a range of programs designed to protect the lives and property of our residents and visitors from the adverse effects of fire, sudden medical emergencies, and other dangerous conditions. Our goals toward accomplishing our mission rely heavily on prevention, education, and customer service.

Entrance Examinations Notice of Examination: Full Time Patrol Officer Class "D" AND Full Time Firefighter/Paramedic Class "D"
Civil Service Commission is offering open, competitive written examinations to establish an eligibility list for BOTH entry level Patrol Officer Class "D" and entry level Firefighter/Paramedic Class "D" positions. Testing and applications will be accepted from Friday April 5, 2024 to Monday, May 27, 2024.
 
CPR Fire Department Offers CPR Classes
The North Ridgeville Fire Department is offering the Family & Friends CPR course and the CPR/Basic Life Support Certification class.

Mobile Food Vendors



Cooking Tents: Prior approval must be obtained by the Fire Prevention Bureau, Asst. Chief Mike Uhnak at (440) 653-6362, in order to cook under or to utilize open flame within a tent or canopy.
Must complete the Mobile Food Unit Checklist PRIOR to submitting the Mobile Food Vendor Permit.
