Spaghetti Dinner Spaghetti Dinner, January 28, 2022
The Senior Center will be hosting a Spaghetti Dinner from 5-7 PM on January 28, 2022 sponsored by Rotary Club of North Ridgeville. Enjoy our famous meal of spaghetti, sauce and meatballs, garlic bread and salad. Adults $7.00, Seniors $6.00 and Children 10 and under $4.00; dessert $1.00, pop $.50 extra and carry out is available. Pre-sale tickets are available for purchase at the Senior Center.
 
Road Closure Barton Road to Close at Center Ridge Road
A temporary road closure for North and South Barton Road at the intersection of Center Ridge Road will begin Monday, January 31, 2022 at 7 AM and end February 11, 2022 at or before 5 PM to facilitate the installation of new sanitary sewers and manholes. Center Ridge Road will remain open during this work.

CPR Fire Department Offers CPR Classes
The North Ridgeville Fire Department is offering the Family & Friends CPR course and the CPR/Basic Life Support Certification class. 
 
Stormwater Utility Base Rate Annual Adjustment, Effective January 1, 2022
Effective January 1, 2022, the Stormwater Utility (SWU) Fee for all property owners will increase by 7.4%. Per Codified Ordinance 1058.07, the SWU base rate will be adjusted annually by the Engineering News Record Construction Cost Index Annual Inflation Rate. The supporting information is attached. The 2022 base rate for one equivalent residential unit will increase from $4.03 to $4.33 per month.

Columbia Gas published their quarterly community update to include information on winter bill assistance, giving the gift of energy, energy efficiency, winter safety messages and charitable giving.
 
Indoor Walking Indoor Walking, LCCC University Partnership Ridge Campus & Liberty Elementary
Every Thursday from 6-7:30 PM starting October 28, 2021 through March 24, 2022, put your walking shoes on and participate in the indoor walking at LCCC UPRC located at 32121 Lorain Road in North Ridgeville.  Every Tuesday and Thursday from 6-7:30 PM starting January 4 through March 22, indoor walking at Liberty Elementary, 5700 Jaycox Road in North Ridgeville. Longbow/Crossbow Deer Hunting Land Registration Underway for 2021-2022
For those wishing to register their land for the 2021-2022 longbow/crossbow deer hunting season in the city of North Ridgeville (starting September 25, 2021 and ending February 6, 2022) you will need to either visit the lobby of the police station or download the forms from the Police Department webpage. Upon completion of the required form (single landowner or multiple landowners), please drop it off in the lobby of the Police Department, 7307 Avon Belden Road, North Ridgeville, OH 44039, or email it to [email protected].
 
Dialing Phone Numbers Changes Are Coming to the 440 Area Code With Ten Digit Dialing
The Federal Communications Commission (FCC) has adopted 988 as a new three-digit number to be used nationwide to reach the National Suicide Prevention and Mental Health Crisis Lifeline starting July 16, 2022. In order for 988 to work in certain area codes, including the 440 area code, 10-digit local dialing must be implemented.

Sanitary Center Ridge Road Sanitary Sewer Extension Project
The City will be extending the sanitary sewer along Center Ridge Road from Barton Road east to the city limits for approximately 3,200 feet.
