Memorial Day Remember and Honor Memorial Day Parade & Service, May 30, 2022
The 2022 Memorial Day Parade and Memorial Service will take place on Monday, May 30, 2022. The parade will begin at 9:45 AM at the Senior Center and travel down Bainbridge Road and conclude at the Ranger Stadium with the Memorial Service in association with the North Ridgeville Lions Club and VFW Post 9871. 
 
Small Business Grants Small Business Grants Available Starting May 2, 2022
Lorain County has recently announced ARPA Grants for Small Businesses. The County has earmarked $3-million to assist small businesses in Lorain County that have been negatively impacted or have faced hardship due to the COVID-19 pandemic and its related effects on the economy.

Freedom Festival Freedom Festival and Fireworks, July 3, 2022
The Freedom Festival and Fireworks will be held at Victory Park Ohio, 7777 Victory Lane, North Ridgeville on Sunday, July 3, 2022. Gates open at 5 PM with activities, entertainment, food and beverages, and fireworks at approximately 10 PM.  Tickets are per vehicle and can be purchased online in advance only by visiting www.victoryparkohio.com.  Early bird pricing available through May 31, 2022.
 
Trash Collection Changes Are Coming To Recycling, Trash & Yard Waste Service
Beginning the first week in May 2022, Republic Services will begin providing weekly year round collection citywide for trash, recycling, yard waste and bulk items on regular service day.  The monthly bulk schedule, dividing the city between east and west of Rt. 83, will be eliminated.  There are also modifications to bulk and yard waste collection.
 
Road Closed Case Road between Center Ridge Road and Otten Road to Close
Case Road, between Center Ridge Road and Otten Road, will close for a bridge replacement beginning April 25, 2022 and is expected to be completed by August 26, 2022.

Roundabout Chestnut Ridge Road and SR 83 Roundabout Plans Available for Review
The City of North Ridgeville, in coordination with the Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT), has proposed a project consisting of an intersection improvement at the State Route 83 (Avon Belden Road) and Chestnut Ridge Road intersection within the city of North Ridgeville. Viewing and comment submission will be accepted through May 23, 2022.

Garage Sale Days Citywide Garage Sale Days, June 8-11, 2022
North Ridgeville Chamber of Commerce/Visitors Bureau will be sponsoring their annual citywide Garage Sale Days on June 8-11, 2022.
 
Food Truck Wars Calling All Food Trucks!
North Ridgeville Parks & Recreation will be hosting the first ever Food Truck Wars on Saturday, July 9, 2022 at Shady Drive Complex. Calling all food trucks!  Applications are now open for food vendors wishing to participate in the event and will be accepted through May 31, 2022.  
 
Touch-A-Truck Touch-A-Truck, Saturday, June 4, 2022
North Ridgeville Parks & Recreation will be sponsoring Touch-A-Truck on Saturday, June 4, 2022 from 10 AM-2 PM at Shady Drive Complex, 37077 Shady Drive.  This is a free event.

North Ridgeville Community Garden is now accepting registrations for the 2022 growing season.  Please submit applications with payment by May 15, 2022.

The architectural plans for the new police station received unanimous approval at the March 8, 2022 Planning Commission meeting.
 
Coffee & Conversation Mayor Corcoran Hosts Monthly Coffee & Conversation
The City of North Ridgeville is pleased to announce monthly Coffee & Conversation with Mayor Kevin Corcoran.  Stop in to enjoy a cup of coffee and casual conversation in Council Chambers at City Hall.  
 
Sanitary Center Ridge Road Sanitary Sewer Extension Project (Updated 1-28-2022)
The City will be extending the sanitary sewer along Center Ridge Road from Barton Road east to the city limits for approximately 3,200 feet.

CPR Fire Department Offers CPR Classes
The North Ridgeville Fire Department is offering the Family & Friends CPR course and the CPR/Basic Life Support Certification class.
