Lorain Road Water Main Project

The City has contracted with IBI Group to design a new water main along Lorain Road from Bliss Parkway to Lear Nagle Road. The businesses along this corridor currently obtain water from the 30” transmission water main that Avon Lake Regional Water owns in this area. The project includes installing approximately 2,200 linear feet of new water main with new valves and hydrants.  Work will also include the re-establishment of the service laterals in this area.

KS Associates will be performing the survey work for this design beginning the week of  April 5, 2021. Design will continue through the summer with construction possibly starting this fall.
