Street Repairs and Paving Schedule 2022 (Revised 11-4-2022)

After careful review of the master plan report for Pavement Condition Rating (PCR), the City identified the streets to be paved/repaired this year within the allocated budget. The PCR report includes a summary of the condition assessment, recommendations as to the prioritized areas requiring attention, and maintenance and rehabilitation recommendations for the entire city network of streets, with the exception of interstate highways.

Asphalt Paving Projects. The City has appropriated $650,000 for asphalt paving in 2022. If additional funds become available, more streets may be added to the list. As each street is scheduled to be paved, this news article will be updated with specific dates which are subject to change depending on weather conditions.  

The Service Department completed this year's asphalt paving list:
- Creekside Lane
- Gail Drive
- Hadaway Street
- Harris Drive
- James Road
- Lee Avenue (between Hadaway and Poplar)
- Mark Court
- May Street
- McKinley Avenue (between Center Ridge Road and Thelma Street)
- Orchard Lane
- Root Road (between Lorain Road and Chestnut Ridge Road)
- Theresa Street

Full Depth Concrete Pavement Replacement Project. The City has appropriated $550,000 for full depth concrete repairs.  After the bid process, Konstruction King, Inc. was awarded the project. 

The following concrete streets are on the list to be repaired this year: 
- Albert Street (from Poplar Street to Mildred Street)
- Dorchester Avenue (cul-de-sac only)
- Lee Avenue (from Drake Street to Poplar Street)
- Millwood Circle
- Nicoll Drive (from approximately 6711 to 6795 Nicoll Drive)
- Intersection of Washington Boulevard and Monroe Lane
