Emergency Snow Ban, February 2-4, 2022

RE:  Emergency Snow Ban

The National Weather Service has issued a winter weather storm warning. In anticipation of this potentially significant storm with the possibility of producing 10-14 inches of snow/precipitation within one to two days, the Emergency Snow Ban will be in effect beginning at noon on Wednesday, February 2 until noon on Friday, February 4.

The Emergency Snow Ban prohibits parking on any city street when the snow exceeds two inches within 24 hours. This is to allow access for snow plows and emergency vehicles as necessary to assist in clearing the roadways for travelers.

At this time, we are asking residents to please be mindful of the upcoming winter weather warning and clear the right of ways as soon as possible. This includes vehicles, large debris, or any other mobile objects. The Service Department will be taking preliminary measures as much as possible in an attempt to stay ahead of the severe weather conditions.

Thank you in advance for your cooperation.
