Notice of Patrolman Entrance Examination

Civil Service Commission is offering open, competitive written and agility examinations to establish an eligibility list for entry level Patrolman Class “C” position.

Agility exam will be held Saturday, August 22, 2020 at Lorain County Community College Ewing Activities Center Field House (EC) and Physical Education Building (PE), 1005 North Abbe Road, Elyria, OH 44035; Parking lot #6.

Check-in time is 8:00 AM. No one will enter after 8:30 AM.

Written exam will be held Wednesday, August 26, 2020 at the North Ridgeville Academic Center, 34620 Bainbridge Road, North Ridgeville. 
Check-in time is 6:00 PM.  No one will enter after 6:30 PM.

Application packets will be available beginning Monday, July 27, 2020.  You may file your application beginning Monday, July 27, 2020 from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM with the deadline to file being 3:00 PM Thursday, August 20, 2020.  The application will state specific information that will need to be reviewed regarding qualifications and examination details.  You may obtain an application packet at North Ridgeville City Hall, Office of the Clerk of Council (440) 353-0513 or by visiting the City’s website https://www.nridgeville.org/CivilServiceCommission.aspx. 

Application fee is $25.00 – Certified Check or Money Order Only
