Public Notice for Bids: Sale of Land

Notice is hereby given that pursuant to ordinance and the authority granted by the Charter of the City of North Ridgeville, offers to purchase will be received at the office of the Mayor of the City of North Ridgeville, 7307 Avon Belden Road, North Ridgeville, Ohio 44039, until 12:00 PM on the 30th day of July, 2021, for the purchase of the following described real estate: Situated in the City of North Ridgeville, County of Lorain, State of Ohio, a parcel of unimproved, land locked real property zoned B-3 Highway Commercial District and consisting of approximately .07 acres located North of Center Ridge Road and East of Mills Creek Lane and currently a proposed split from parcel number 07-00-006-101-040 in the Lorain County Real Property records. Additional information is available upon request. The property if sold shall be conveyed by quit claim deed to the presenter of the highest bona fide offer.  Sale of the property shall be conditioned upon buyer’s execution of a purchase agreement requiring payment of $1,500.00 earnest money within 7 days of notice of acceptance of the offer, and requiring delivery of the balance of the purchase price as directed by the agreement for closing within 60 days of the acceptance of offer. Offers must be in writing signed by purchaser with address, phone number and e-mail information. Following the City’s opening of all bids received by the stated deadline, the amount of all bids received shall be disclosed upon inquiry, and any bidder having successfully delivered a bid by the stated deadline shall have the opportunity to submit an additional final revised bid within three (3) business days of that deadline. Costs associated with sale, including advertising, title and closing fees shall be borne by purchaser. The City of North Ridgeville reserves the right to reject any and all offers, or to accept any offer not grossly inadequate.
