North Ridgeville Income Tax
The City of North Ridgeville is a member municipality of the Regional Income Tax Agency (R.I.T.A).  R.I.T.A. is responsible for the administration and collection of all income taxes and serves as an Agent of the City of North Ridgeville in this capacity.  Residents and businesses have the ability to file and make payments online.  All tax payments and tax forms, for current and prior tax years, are to be sent to R.I.T.A. via mail at: R.I.T.A., P.O. Box 477900, Broadview Hts., OH  44147-7900 or electronically by visiting their website.

It is mandatory for ALL residents 18 years or older, having earned income and not fully retired or on permanent disability, to file a tax return, whether there is tax due or not. This includes tenants who rent. This income tax is based on earnings not property ownership. Non-residents, who are engaged in a North Ridgeville business activity, i.e., rental property, self-employed, partnerships, companies, corporations, etc., are also required to file an income tax return by April 15 each year.  Estimated tax payments are required quarterly unless North Ridgeville Income Tax is withheld automatically.

Pursuant to Ordinance No. 4093-2005, the income tax rate is 1% with a credit of .10 of 1% on taxes paid to a resident's work community.
