Thank you Thank You For Your Support of Issue #11
On behalf of the City of North Ridgeville, the Fire Department and its members, we would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the residents for their overwhelming support of Issue #11 – Ambulance and EMS renewal levy with a .5 mill increase.  
Legal Notice, Mildred Street Reconstruction and Extension Project
Sealed proposals will be received at the Office of the Mayor, 7307 Avon Belden Road, North Ridgeville, OH 44039 until 11:00 AM on May 29, 2019 and will be opened and read immediately thereafter for: Mildred Street Reconstruction and Extension Project.

Memorial Day Memorial Day Parade & Service
The 2019 Memorial Day Parade will begin at 9:45 AM on Monday, May 27th at the Senior Center on Bainbridge Road and conclude at the Ranger Stadium with the Memorial Service in association with the North Ridgeville Lions Club and VFW Post 9871. 
Memorial Day City Hall Offices Closed, May 27, 2019
City Hall Offices will be closed on Monday, May 27, 2019 in observance of Memorial Day. 
Healthy Strides: Come Walk With Us!
Healthy Strides...Come Walk With Us! combines a casual 30-minute walk, preceded by a brief informative talk by local health professionals and city officials. The program will run for 12 consecutive Thursdays, with a guest speaker every other week beginning on June 13, 2019. All members of the community are welcome to attend. No registration required - free to attend.  
ODOT Update: Route 83 & Center Ridge Road
Starting April 11, 2019, crews will be saw cutting across the intersection at Route 83 on the south side of the street. This is prep work for the construction that will begin Monday, April 15, 2019 to include storm sewer installation.  There will be flaggers and police at this intersection during morning and afternoon peak hours; however, expect lengthy delays.  The intersection of US 20 and Route 83 will see major impacts this season.

Street Repairs Street Repairs and Paving Schedule 2019
The City will see $1,475,000 in street repairs this year with the City’s share coming in at $1,125,000 with the balance of $350,000 from Ohio Public Works Commission (OPWC).  
Safetyville Safetyville 2019
Registration for the 2019 Safetyville Program sponsored by the North Ridgeville Police Department will begin on April 15, 2019. 
Trash Collection Trash Collection Delayed One Day
In observance of Memorial Day, Republic Services will delay trash collection by one day.  Trash pick-up will be Wednesday, May 29, 2019.  Please have all items at curbside by 6 AM. 
Touch-A-Truck Touch-A-Truck, June 1, 2019
North Ridgeville Parks & Recreation Department will be sponsoring Touch-A-Truck on Saturday, June 1, 2019 from 10 AM-noon at the North Ridgeville High School parking lot.  Get up close and personal with all kinds of big trucks!  This unique event encourages children (and adults) to touch vehicles, ask questions and even climb inside to take in the view from the driver's seat.  The event is FREE and appropriate for all ages.

North Ridgeville Chamber of Commerce/Visitors Bureau will be sponsoring their annual citywide Garage Sale Days from June 12-15, 2019. 
National Council for Home Safety and Security North Ridgeville Ranked #5 Safest City in Ohio

Several projects are currently underway or are planned for 2019.   
Replacement of Mills Road Bridge Over French Creek, Spring 2020
The City of North Ridgeville obtained a grant through the Ohio Department of Transportation’s Municipal Bridge Program to provide federal funding for a major portion of the costs to replace the Mills Road bridge over French Creek.  The project is in the preliminary design stage, and construction is estimated to begin in Spring of 2020.
