State Route 83 and Mills Road Intersection Re-Opens
The reconstruction of a congested four-way, stop-controlled intersection into a modern single-lane roundabout at Route 83 and Mills Road opened to traffic on Wednesday, October 4, 2017. The $1.2 million project was made possible through a team effort among North Ridgeville, Avon, engineering firm American Structurepoint and KMU Trucking and Excavating. Funding from Ohio Public Works Commission paid for nearly $700,000 of the project's cost with the remaining expense shared between North Ridgeville and Avon.
