Senior Prom
Lake Ridge Academy’s Dante House is sponsoring a “Senior Prom” for older adults at the North Ridgeville Senior Center on Friday – May 2 from 4 p.m. – 6 p.m. This free event is open to any older adult 55 and over who likes dancing to a variety of tunes or just sitting back and listening to the music. Requests will be taken during the two hours of fun, music, dancing, fellowship and refreshments. The students are generously providing everything for the event including decorations, music and refreshments. “We love the opportunity to bring generations together,” said Lake Ridge Academy junior and event coordinator, Scott Chriss. “As we get ready for prom season, we thought it would be fun to hold a similar event in the community.” Doors open at 3:30 and refreshments will be served. There is no charge to attend the evening’s festivities; however, reservations are necessary by calling the Senior Center at (440) 353-0828.
