Jaycox Road Phase 2 Reconstruction Project to Begin July 18

Specialized Construction will begin work on Jaycox Road, Phase 2 Reconstruction Project, starting July 18. Project details include reconstruction of the road from approximately 400 feet north of Drake Street to Mills Road using six inches of pulverized asphalt base and three inches of new asphalt intermediate and surface courses to provide two eleven-foot lanes with two-foot wide asphalt shoulders. All work is expected to be completed by mid-August depending on the weather.  Two-way traffic will be maintained at all times with flaggers on duty to assist with traffic and to insure a safe work zone.

The city received a grant from Ohio Public Works Commission for $358,233 of the $607,175 needed for this project.
