Hydrant Replacement Project to Begin April 1 (Revised 3-22-2024)

The 2024 Hydrant Replacement Project was awarded to Diggers of Ohio, LLC for $385,256.81. The project includes the replacement of 35 existing fire hydrants along Chestnut Ridge Road, Lorain Road, Island Road, Pitts Boulevard, Wil-Lou Lane, Root Road and Reed Road. Work is expected to begin April 1 and last approximately two months. Water will be shut off temporarily during this work and impacted residents will be notified ahead of time.
