Memorial Day Parade & Service, May 30, 2022
The 2022 Memorial Day Parade and Memorial Service will take place on Monday, May 30, 2022. The parade will begin at 9:45 AM at the Senior Center and travel down Bainbridge Road and conclude at the Ranger Stadium with the Memorial Service in association with the North Ridgeville Lions Club and VFW Post 9871.
City Hall Offices Closed, May 30, 2022
City Hall Offices will be closed in observance of Memorial Day.
Trash Collection Delayed One Day Due to Holiday
In observance of Memorial Day, Republic Services will delay trash collection by one day. Trash collection will be Wednesday, June 1, 2022. Please have all items at curbside by 6 AM on collection day.
Street Repairs and Paving Schedule 2022 (Revised 5-23-2022)
After careful review of the master plan report for Pavement Condition Rating (PCR), the City identified the streets to be paved/repaired this year within the allocated budget. The PCR report includes a summary of the condition assessment, recommendations as to the prioritized areas requiring attention, and maintenance and rehabilitation recommendations for the entire city network of streets, with the exception of interstate highways.
Small Business Grants Available Starting May 2, 2022
Lorain County has recently announced ARPA Grants for Small Businesses. The County has earmarked $3-million to assist small businesses in Lorain County that have been negatively impacted or have faced hardship due to the COVID-19 pandemic and its related effects on the economy.
Legal Notice, Fire Station No. 2 Driveway Replacement
Sealed proposals will be received at the Office of the Mayor, 7307 Avon Belden Road, North Ridgeville, OH 44039 until 11 AM on May 26, 2022 and will be opened and read immediately thereafter for Fire Station No. 2 Driveway Replacement Project.
Freedom Festival and Fireworks, July 3, 2022
The Freedom Festival and Fireworks will be held at Victory Park Ohio, 7777 Victory Lane, North Ridgeville on Sunday, July 3, 2022. Gates open at 5 PM with activities, entertainment, food and beverages, and fireworks at approximately 10 PM. Tickets are per vehicle and can be purchased online in advance only by visiting www.victoryparkohio.com. Early bird pricing available through May 31, 2022.
Changes Are Coming To Recycling, Trash & Yard Waste Service
Beginning the first week in May 2022, Republic Services will begin providing weekly year round collection citywide for trash, recycling, yard waste and bulk items on regular service day. The monthly bulk schedule, dividing the city between east and west of Rt. 83, will be eliminated. There are also modifications to bulk and yard waste collection.
Case Road between Center Ridge Road and Otten Road to Close
Case Road, between Center Ridge Road and Otten Road, will close for a bridge replacement beginning April 25, 2022 and is expected to be completed by August 26, 2022.
State of North Ridgeville Video Series
As a follow up to the State of North Ridgeville Address, Mayor Kevin Corcoran and Superintendent of North Ridgeville City Schools Roxann Caserio will answer questions that were not addressed at the event in their weekly video series.

Center Ridge Road Sanitary Sewer Extension Project (Updated 5-18-2022)
The City will be extending the sanitary sewer along Center Ridge Road from Barton Road east to the city limits for approximately 3,200 feet.
