Bookkeeper
Department: Office for Older Adults
Union/FLSA Status: AFSCME/non-exempt
Employment Status: Part-Time
Salary: $18.48 hr. 
Reports To: Administrator, Office for Older Adults
Working Hours: Monday-Thursday, 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. (hours and days may vary, based on need and special events/activities)

The Bookkeeper position is responsible for general administrative support, serve as the Meals-on-Wheels coordinator, and the Volunteers coordinator. Staff the front desk and direct front desk volunteers, play a supportive role in functions related to events, programs and supportive services that provide opportunities for growth, exploration of interests, arts and cultural experiences, physical and mental wellness, and socialization for older adults in the community in order to improve their overall quality of life. Minimum Qualifications: Completion of secondary education (high school or GED). Candidates must have a minimum of 2+ years in an office setting. Organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks are necessary. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are a must. Customer service experience preferred.

Laborer
Department: Public Works, Service Division

Salary Range: $24.91-27.88 hr. with CDL Class B; $23.97 hr. without CDL Class B 
Reports To: Jon Montgomery, Director of Public Works
Working Hours: Monday-Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. with the potential for work call-outs after 3:00 p.m., weekends and holidays.

Minimum Qualifications: Completion of secondary education (high or GED), plus six months of full-time laborer experience. A valid Ohio Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class B required; will consider applicants without a CDL Class B with the stipulation of obtaining a valid license within one year of employment.

The Civil Engineer II (PE) is an advanced professional position that provides the Engineering Division with engineering design, technical documentation and project management of in-house public works projects and performs a variety of technical tasks. See the job description for more details.

Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering and a minimum of three (3) years of experience as Ohio licensed professional engineer with valid Ohio P.E. license. A master’s degree in civil engineering may be substituted for years of P.E. experience, but applicant must have valid Ohio P.E. license at time of application. Experience in design and inspection of public works projects is preferred. Possession of a valid State of Ohio driver’s license, must be able to qualify for and remain insurable under the City’s vehicle insurance policy.
