North Ridgeville is upgrading water meters with advanced technology to improve efficiency and resource management. The city has partnered with Utility Metering Solutions (UMS) to oversee the installation of the new meters. Residents and businesses will receive a letter from UMS with detailed instructions on how to schedule an installation, either by phone or online. UMS will complete installations in one section of the city at a time. We kindly ask that you wait until you receive your letter before scheduling. Notifications will be sent out as UMS progresses through each area of the city. Thank you for your patience and cooperation as we work together to enhance the city’s water system.
Installation Update, April 2, 2025
Water meters are nearing completion for residents whose utility account numbers begin with 0140 and 0141. Account numbers beginning with 0142 and 0143, these areas have received scheduling letters and we encourage residents to make their appointments as soon as possible. Scheduling letters will be arriving within the next week for residents whose utility account numbers begin with 0109, 0136 and 0144. Please watch your mailbox for more information.
