Street Repairs and Paving 2024
After careful review of the Pavement Condition Rating (PCR) report, the city has identified those streets to be repaved this year within the allocated budget. The PCR report includes condition assessments, identification of priority areas and maintenance and rehabilitation recommendations for the entire city network of streets, with the exception of interstate highways.
Asphalt Paving The city has appropriated $550,000 in 2024 for street paving materials. This year, the Public Works Department, Streets Division, will be paving the following streets:
- Aurensen Road
- Barres Road
- Cadet Drive
- Glen Drive
- Laurel Circle
- Manning Circle
- Meadow Creek Oval
- Noll Drive
- Shady Drive
- Sugar Ridge Road (Bender Road west to Elyria border)
As each street is scheduled to be milled and/or paved, information including dates of construction will be added to this article. These dates are subject to change depending on weather conditions or unforeseen circumstances.
Full Depth Concrete Pavement Replacement The city has appropriated $900,000 this year for concrete pavement repairs. This work is performed by an outside contractor. The project will be bid later this year.
