Shoe Drive
Police departments across Lorain County joined forces to help collect new, used and gently worn shoes for its Frontline United Initiative. The shoe drive was a 60-day fundraiser to collect shoes that will be donated to impoverished countries. The Frontline United Initiative will earn funds based on the number of pairs collected as Funds2Orgs will purchase all of the donated goods.
OUR SHOE DRIVE WAS A TOTAL SUCCESS! We want to thank our community for helping to contribute to our shoe drive success. We could not have done this without all of you! North Ridgeville brought in 205 bags of shoes. That’s 5,125 pairs of shoes! The original goal was just 100 bags. WITH YOUR HELP, WE DOUBLED THE GOAL, AND THEN SOME.
