Street Repairs and Paving Schedule 2021 (Updated 10-29-2021)
After careful review of the master plan report for Pavement Condition Rating (PCR), the City has identified the streets that will be paved/repaired this year within the city's allocated budget.  The PCR report includes a summary of the condition assessment, recommendations as to the prioritized areas requiring attention, and maintenance and rehabilitation recommendations for the entire city network of streets, with the exception of interstate highways. 

Below you'll find the list of streets that are scheduled to be paved in 2021.  Asphalt paving will begin as early as the end of April/early May. As each street is scheduled to be paved, this news article will be updated with specific dates which are subject to change depending on weather conditions.

Completed Asphalt Paving Projects:
- Bernice Street
- Broad Boulevard
- Charles Road
- Emerald Street
- Garrett Drive
- Greenwich Avenue
- Hedgerow Park Drive
- Lorain Road (west of Island Road to SR 83)
- Rose Street
- Schaefer Drive
- Shady Moss Lane
- Sycamore Street

Full-Depth Concrete Pavement Repairs
These repairs are partially funded through Ohio Public Works Commission (OPWC) at $400,000 with local share at $300,000 for an estimated total cost of $700,000.  OPWC funding is anticipated to be awarded in July 2021. The Engineering Department advertised for bids in June and awarded the project to Konstruction King, Inc. in July. Construction began in August and will continue into October. Residents in the area will be notified by the contractor in advance of the work being performed.

- Greenlawn Drive from Center Ridge Road to 460' south of Center Ridge Road
- Harris Court
- Nicoll Drive from Gail Drive to Browning Drive
- Sourbrook Lane  
- Sweetbriar Court
- Topaz Court
