The contractor will begin cleaning the sanitary sewers on Broad, Main and Pleasant the week of May 11, 2020. No disruption to service is anticipated. They will be doing this work for the next few weeks. Once the sewers have been cleaned, point repairs will begin for sections of pipe that need complete replacement. The contractor will have to open cut the street for these repairs. When all the repairs are complete, the contractor will begin the sanitary sewer relining. Prior to this work beginning, the contractor may ask residents to minimize the amount of sanitary flow produced for a day while they work on the sewer in front of the effected residency. Notification will be given prior to this happening. Work also includes manhole rehabilitation.
It is anticipated that the project will take 3 months to complete.
The City does not anticipate that any road closures will be required to perform this work.
