ODOT Update: Center Ridge Road Widening Project
Updated 11-25-2020:

This is my last update for the 2020 construction season. I will be returning to my winter duties of plowing snow for ODOT in Erie County. During the winter months, I will have limited availability to email and calls. However, I will get back to you when I can. If you need immediate assistance, please call our Public Relations Office at 419-207-7181 and they will be able to assist you.

Fechko and its sub-contractors have worked extremely hard to get the majority of project completed. As most of you can see that the end is near but there is just a little more work to be done. Over the winter months traffic lights, street lights, pedestrian pedestals, and permanent signage will continue to be installed. Work will also begin on the 4 retention areas at various locations though out the project. Any corrective items that are not weather and temperature dependent may also be taken care of. Starting in the spring, corrective milling will be performed throughout the project. Shortly after that, surface course asphalt will be paved along with permanent lane striping.

***PROPOSED SCHEDULE IS SUBJECT TO CHANGE WITHOUT NOTICE AND IS WEATHER PERMITTING***

The traffic lighting crew is anticipated to continue on with installing street light and signal poles.

Permanent sign installation is anticipated to continue though out the project.
Removal of Stormwater pollution prevention control measures will continue.
