Ohio Public Health Advisory Alert System

The Public Health Advisory Alert System is a color-coded system that helps people assess and respond to their risk for COVID-19 in each Ohio county. It uses a framework of indicators and data (mostly from the last 21 days).

  • YES, the governor requires counties in level 3 and above to wear masks!
    • Beginning 6 p.m. on Friday, July 10
    • In ALL indoor locations
    • Outdoor locations where you can’t stay 6 feet away from others
    • When sharing a vehicle with people outside your household
  • Check the county's level (updated by ODH every Thursday)
  • Adjust the choices you make for yourself, your family, your business, and your community
