After careful review of the Pavement Condition Rating (PCR) report, the city has identified those streets to be repaved this year within the allocated budget. The PCR report includes condition assessments, identification of priority areas and maintenance and rehabilitation recommendations for the entire city network of streets, with the exception of interstate highways.
Asphalt Paving
The city appropriated $550,000 in 2024 for street paving materials. The Public Works Department, Streets Division, paved the following streets:

- Barres Road
- Cadet Drive
- Laurel Circle
- Manning Circle
- Glen Drive
- Meadow Creek Oval
- Noll Drive
- Shady Drive
- Sugar Ridge Road (Bender Road west to Elyria border)
As each street is scheduled to be milled and/or paved, information including dates of construction will be added to this article. These dates are subject to change depending on weather conditions or unforeseen circumstances.
Full Depth Concrete Pavement Replacement
The city has appropriated $900,000 this year for concrete pavement repairs. The contractor on the project is Set In Stone Contracting, LLC. The scope of the project includes areas of only joint repair while other areas include the removal and replacement of larger sections (see location maps found below). The contractor will notify residents in the project area 24 hours prior to starting the work. The project kicked off September 10 starting with Oakwood Circle. Below are the streets in order in which the contractor will make the repairs.

2) Main Avenue (from Center Ridge Road to Rose Street)
3) Jason Drive
4) Lisa Way
5) Gatestone Road (from Longbrook Drive to Woodspring Circle)
