Lorain County Public Health Announces Flu Shots and COVID-19 Vaccines (Revised 9-28-2023)
Flu shots will be available starting October 2, 2023 at LCPH. LCPH will offer these flu vaccine options: flu shot for ages 6 months through 64 years, high-dose flu shot for adults 65 years and older, and nasal flumist for ages 2 years through 49 years. COVID-19 vaccines are for everyone ages 6 months and older.
Call (440) 284-3206 to schedule a vaccine appointment with LCPH at their main office in Elyria, or at a satellite vaccine site in Lorain and Wellington.
LCPH is committed to making sure the flu shot and COVID-19 vaccine stays affordable for everyone in Lorain County. No child is turned away for inability to pay for any vaccine, and LCPH will work with adults to reduce barriers to cost. LCPH will directly bill the client’s insurance provider to cover the administrative fee for services and vaccines.
