Notice of Examination, Patrol Officer Class "D"

Civil Service Commission is offering open, competitive written and agility examinations to establish an eligibility list for entry level Patrolman Class “D” position.

You may obtain an application packet at North Ridgeville City Hall, Office of the Clerk of Council or by visiting the City’s website at https://www.nridgeville.org/CivilServiceCommission.aspx. The application will state specific information that will need to be reviewed regarding qualifications and examination details. You may file your application beginning Thursday, August 18, 2022 from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM with the deadline to file at 4:00 PM Friday, September 9, 2022 at the Office of the Clerk of Council, 7307 Avon Belden Road, North Ridgeville, OH 44039.

Agility exam will be held at 8:30 AM on Saturday, September 17, 2022 at Lorain County Community College Ewing Physical Education & Fitness Center (PE), 1005 North Abbe Road, Elyria, OH 44035. Check-in time is 8:00 AM. Candidates must produce a valid driver's license to verify identification.

Written exam will be held at 6:00 PM on Monday, October 3, 2022 at the North Ridgeville Branch Library, 35700 Bainbridge Road, North Ridgeville. Check-in time is 5:30 PM. Candidates must produce a valid driver's license to verify identification.

Application fee is $25.00 – Certified Check or Money Order Only, payable to City of North Ridgeville
