Old Town Hall
ABOUT OLD TOWN HALL

Old Town Hall is one of North Ridgeville’s most recognizable historic buildings. Constructed in the 1880s and listed on the National Register of Historic Places, the building has served many roles in the community over the decades, including civic space, library services and cultural uses.

Old Town Hall was closed in March 2023 after building and fire code deficiencies were identified. Initial stabilization work has been completed to address immediate hazards and protect the structure. The building is currently not open to the public while the city evaluates long-term options for renovation and future use.

Today, the city is working to preserve this landmark and position it for a sustainable future that honors its history while meeting modern safety and accessibility standards.

For additional background on the building, its condition and potential next steps, view the Old Town Hall Renaissance presentation made to Council on March 5, 2026 below.
