Electronic Vehicle Charging Stations
There are two EV Charging Stations available at City Hall for public use. They are located in the parking lot, near the Bainbridge Road entrance to City Hall. They consist of a L2 (slower charger) and DCFC (fast charger) EV stations. Tesla owners can use the stations with an adapter.
Project History
As part of the 2021-2024 Transportation Improvement Program, NOACA identified installation of electronic vehicle (EV) charging stations as a priority, allocating $3 million for the installation of stations across the region. They identified 120 locations in public spaces across Cuyahoga, Geauga, Lake, Lorain and Medina counties, including one here in North Ridgeville. In March 2025, NOACA’s contractor, SAF, Inc., installed the charging stations.
