Lorain County Community Housing Impact and Preservation (CHIP) Program
The City of North Ridgeville is partnering with Lorain County to offer home repair and rehabilitation programs to income-eligible homeowners by way of the Lorain County Community Housing Impact and Preservation (CHIP) Program. This program is funded by the Ohio Department of Development.

The home repair program offers grants for plumbing, electrical, roof, furnace, ADA modifications, water heater, walk-in shower and other health and safety needs. The home rehabilitation program offers more extensive repairs and upgrades for homes in the form of a declining-forgivable loan. There is no monthly payment, no interest will be charged and 100% of the amount borrowed will be forgiven over five years provided owner continues to own and occupy the home.

This program is administered by Kleinfelder, Inc. For more information, contact (877) 836-3206 or [email protected]. You may also visit the county's website for more details.
