The City of North Ridgeville will hold a special memorial service on Patriot Day and National Day of Service and Remembrance. In addition to a brief moment of silence at 8:46 AM when the first plane hit the World Trade Center, Fire Chief John Reese and Police Chief Mike Freeman will offer a few words. Safety vehicles used by the Fire and Police Departments will also be on display and actual equipment used by the New York Fire Department will also be available for viewing.
Refreshments will be served immediately following in the Community Cabin provided by Liston Funeral Home.
