Ribbon-cutting ceremony will be held on Aug. 4, 2015
The North Ridgeville Parks and Recreation Department is holding a ribbon-cutting ceremony for the new fitness equipment in South Central Park at 6 p.m. on Aug. 4, 2015.
“We are excited for this new addition to our park system,” Kevin Fougerousse, Director of North Ridgeville Parks and Recreation Department, said. “We’re hoping that the new fitness equipment will encourage residents to be more active.”
The purchase and installation of the new fitness equipment was funded by a grant through the Ohio Department of Health and Communities Preventing Chronic Disease.
“The new fitness equipment includes a chest press, an elliptical, a rower, a stair climber, a recumbent bike and a lat pulldown machine,” Fougerousse said.
The fitness equipment is located on the hillside overlooking the lake.
All members of the community are urged to attend the ribbon-cutting ceremony.
