23rd Annual Big Band Dance/Concert
(Proceeds Benefit North Ridgeville Senior Center and Lorain County Office on Aging) It’s time again to swing to the sound of the Doc McDonald Band at the 23rd Annual Big Band Dance which will be held Wednesday, Sept. 23 at DeLuca’s Place in the Park. Tickets are on sale now at the North Ridgeville Senior Center and the Lorain County Office on Aging for $8.00. All proceeds from ticket sales go directly to these two organizations helping seniors in North Ridgeville and throughout Lorain County. Attorney David A. Myers together with the law firm Fauver, Keyse-Walker and Donovan, L.P.A. is sponsoring the event. Because of their generous sponsorship, all proceeds from each ticket sold will go directly to the North Ridgeville Senior Center and the Lorain County Office on Aging to help support programs and services. These programs include transportation, meals-on-wheels, socialization and supportive services. Each year over 300 senior citizens enjoy this exciting evening of dancing or just tapping their feet to the beat. Music begins at 7 p.m. and the band plays until 10 p.m. Snacks are provided and a variety of hot foods/drinks are available for purchase.
