Lorain County General Health District Announces Flu Shot Clinics
August 5, 2015 (Lorain County, Ohio) - Anyone can catch the flu. It’s never known when people will begin to get sick or how long the illness will last. To protect both you and your loved ones this flu season, the Lorain County General Health District (LCGHD) will provide flu shot clinics this fall. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) recommends a flu vaccine as the first and best way to protect yourself. According to the CDC, all people 6 months of age and older should receive a flu vaccine. Don’t fall for the flu this year; get a flu shot! LCGHD Health Commissioner, David Covell, R.S., M.P.H., announced flu shot clinic dates and locations for the 2015 flu season, including:
