Notice of Patrolman Entrance Examination

Civil Service Commission is offering open, competitive written and agility examinations to establish an eligibility list for entry level Patrolman Class “C” position.

Agility exam will be held Saturday, December 15, 2018 at Lorain County Community College Ewing Activities Center Field House (EC) and Physical Education Building (PE), 1005 North Abbe Road, Elyria, OH 44035; Parking lot #6. Check-in time is 8:00 AM No one will enter after 8:30 AM.

Written exam will be held Wednesday, December 19, 2018 at the North Ridgeville Early Childhood Learning Center, 5490 Mills Creek Lane, North Ridgeville. Check-in time is 6:00 PM.  No one will enter after 6:30 PM.

Application packets will be available beginning November 26, 2018.  You may file your application beginning November 26, 2018 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM with the deadline to file being 4:30 PM Friday, December 7, 2018.  The application will state specific information that will need to be reviewed regarding qualifications and examination details.  You may obtain an application packet at North Ridgeville City Hall, Office of the Clerk of Council (440) 353-0513 or by visiting the City’s website at www.nridgeville.org/CivilServiceCommission.aspx.

Application fee is $25.00 - Money Order Only
