NOPEC Reaches Agreement with New Supplier of Electricity
Following the recent announcement that FirstEnergy Solutions to terminate its contract with NOPEC three years early, NOPEC has reached an agreement with NextEra Energy Services Ohio, LLC to become the new supplier of electricity effective January 1, 2017. NOPEC customers should expect to receive their opt-out notices for service under the new program in the next few weeks. If you want to remain in the NOPEC program, you need to do nothing.
