Sanitary Sewer Evaluation Study Continues
AECOM will be conducting manhole inspections beginning June 21 in the areas of sub-basins 9, 10, 15 and 16 (see map below identifying these areas). The technique used is topside inspection, opening manholes and taking digital photographs of all inspected manhole structures, noting manhole defects or evidence of I/I, and any previous rehabilitation work observed to have been completed within the structure. Information is recorded during the manhole survey to include: basic data such as silt build-up, visible infiltration or exfiltration sources, hydrogen sulfide odors, structural damage, cracks, open or offset joints, sags, water consumption materials, pipe size, depth of manhole, depth to invert, depth of flow, and flow direction.
Crews will be identified by AECOM badges, field work representative letters and marked vehicles, and crews will not require entry into your house.
