Civil Service Commission is offering open, competitive written examinations to establish an eligibility list for BOTH entry level Patrol Officer Class "D" and entry level Firefighter/Paramedic Class "D" positions. Testing and applications will be accepted from Friday April 5, 2024 to Monday, May 27, 2024.

The new North Ridgeville Police Station will be fully operational on Monday, March 18. All personnel will be relocated from the station attached to City Hall to the newly constructed facility at 7070 Ranger Way.

The North Ridgeville Fire and Police Departments will be hosting the annual Open House & Safety Fair on Saturday, October 7, 2023 from 10 AM-2 PM at Fire Station #1, 7000 Ranger Way. Station tours, food, entertainment, touch-a-truck, kids firefighter combat challenge, Kasey Fire & Life Safety Dog, inflatables and bounce houses, emergency helicopter landing (weather permitting) and more. This is a free event.
