Email PageThe Service Department is the "Fix It" department for North Ridgeville. We are also referred to as the maintainers of the city. The first priority of the Service Department is to answer all citizens' complaints and concerns then channel them to the proper department. The Service Department wears many hats but there are four main areas of responsibility in this department. They are streets, water, storm, sanitary sewers, ditches and culver pipe.
You will find us at 35010 Bainbridge Road, about a 1/2 mile from City Hall. North Ridgeville is the largest city in Lorain County in land mass. This totals to approximately 280 lane miles of roads.
The Service Department consists of 36 employees. The Superintendent runs this department. He has three foremen to assist him along with one secretary and 19 laborers, 5 mechanics, 5 equipment operators, 2 water meter repairmen and one sign maintenance person.
We feel with our continued effort we will fulfill our goals. We work very hard to make North Ridgeville a beautiful city for all to enjoy what we have to offer.
