 10-18-An officer observed a vehicle stopped along the side of the roadway.  The passenger was standing beside the vehicle and threw a McDonalds bag on the ground.  The male got into the vehicle then exited the vehicle to pick up the bag.  The vehicle was stopped and the driver was arrested for having a suspended license.  A search of the vehicle located bottles of suspected PCP in the McDOnalds bag that the passenger attempted to discard.   

10-19-On 10-19-2008 at 0107 hrs. a resident called to report that someone had just attempted to gain entry to his juvenile daughter's room through a window. Upon patrolling the area, a neighborhood male juvenile was located. Investigation determined the female juvenile knew the male juvenile and the two were speaking before being interrupted by the adult homeowner. The male will be referred to LCJC for minor's curfew and underage consumption of alcohol.

10-19-A vehicle that was traveling EB on SR10 was stopped for an equipment violation.  Officers located a small amount of marijuana along with several marijuana seeds in a container and smoking pipes.  The driver was arrested and transported to NRPD. 

10-19-An Officer conducted a traffic stop after observing a vehicle that failed to obey a red traffic signal.  The driver of the vehicle could not produce a driver's license and provided the Officer with false information regarding his identity.  The identity of the driver was later determined.  The driver was found to have a suspended driver's license and two active warrants for his arrest.  He was charged with Red Light, Driving Under Suspension, and Falsification. 

10-20-Officers were dispatched to a private residence on Chestnut Rdg. Rd. in regards to a domestic dispute and an assault.  Subsequently, an adult male was arrested for assault and trespass.

10-22-A report was taken for telecommunications harassment.  The victim received a harassing voice mail on his cellular telephone.  The victim signed charges against the suspect.

10-23-A subject repeatedly sounded his vehicle's horn for extended periods of time while stopped in traffic at the scene of an arrest. He was warned and when he failed to comply was cited for Improper Use of Horn and Hindering A Traffic Enforcement Official. He was then released at the scene.

10-25-On 10/25/08, an officer initiated a routine traffic stop on Pleasant Ave. Three 18 year old subjects in the vehicle were found to be in possession of an alcoholic beverage. They were cited for Underage Possession of Alcohol and released from the scene.

11-01-A resident came on station to report passing bad checks.  A letter of dishonor had been sent.  The subject was allowed to sign a charge of passing bad checks.

11-01-On 11-01-2008 at 0239 hrs. a caller reported an assault which had occurred in the parking lot at Johnny Malloy's. Follow up investigation conducted with parties involved was unable to verify either version of the events which actually took place.

11-02-On 11/01/08, an officer responded to the Albert St. apartments in reference to a temporary protection order violation. The suspect was not present but had been contacting the complainant by telephone. Charges will be signed upon locating the suspect.

11-02-Officers responded to Albert Street for a report of Violation of a Temporary Protection Order.  Upon arrival, officers located the male that had violated the order and placed him under arrest.  He was transported to the NRPD, where he was unable to post the required bond, and was held pending his court appearance. 

11-03-A subject contacted NRPD in reference to a vehicle break-in.  The subject was at New Life Church on US20.  When he returned to his truck, he noticed that a rock had been thrown through the back window and tools had been stolen from his truck. 

11-03-A male came to NRPD to report the theft of money.  A male juvenile was referred for the theft.

11-09-A citizen reported identity theft.  Unauthorized credit card accounts were opened using the victim's personal information.

11-09-An officer stopped a vehicle on US20 due to the driver being under a license suspension.  The driver was cited into EMC and released at the scene.  The vehicle was towed by Pattons. 

11-10-An officer was traveling NB on Wil Lou Lane from Pitts Boulevard, directly behind a Ford Ranger. A random registration check indicated that the Ranger's registered owner was under a license suspension. The Ranger pulled into a private drive and the driver exited the vehicle. The driver was the registered owner of the vehicle. He stated that he was aware of the suspension and was cited for it in October by NRPD. He was issued another citation and released on scene.

11-10-A resident on Sugar Ridge Rd. called to report a large group of people causing a disturbance. Upon locating the people involved, they were advised to leave the area. One driver was cited and released for operating with a suspended license.

11-10-Officers responded to a complaint of domestic violence.  The complainant advised her husband broke into the house.  He left prior to Officers arrival.  Officers searched the area for the vehicle, but were unable to locate the male.

11-10-An officer met with an adult male on station to report his juvenile son a runaway. The child was entered as a missing juvenile and an investigation ensued. The child will be referred to LCJC for unruly juvenile.

11-11-An employee of Sheetz called to advise that he had caught a male shoplifter earlier in the day, however the male left without being identified.  He also stated that the male was back in the parking lot.  Officers arrived at the scene and the subject was found in a vehicle in the parking lot.  The complainant advised that he wished to sign charges for theft on the subject.  The defendant was brought back to the station where he was cited and released after he posted the required bond.

11-12-An officer was dispatched to Denise Dr. to take a report on a Theft from a motor vehicle.  Upon arrival on scene he was advised that 30 cd's and $300 cash was taken from an unlocked motor vehicle.  The vehicle was parked in the driveway.

11-13-A female subject in Elyria twice called NRPD to report false complaints against her ex-boyfriend who lives in North Ridgeville. After both complaints were investigated and found to be fabricated, the female was arrested. She was charged with two counts of Making False Alarms and one count of Harassment.

11-13-A male contacted NRPD in reference to a domestic dispute.  The male was arguing with his roommate.  While on the phone with the dispatcher, the victim was struck in the face by the other male.  The male was arrested and transported to NRPD where he was issued a charge of Domestic Violence.  

11-13- An officer responded to an accident at the intersection of Lear Nagle and Lorain Rd. The driver of the vehicle involved was arrested for OVI and was transported to NRPD. He was additionally cited for obstructing official business and driving in marked lanes. He was released on bond to a sober driver.

11-14-A supervisor from Ryan Homes reported some items stolen from two job sights.

 11-14- An officer was stationary in a parking lot at the intersection of US20 and Lear Nagle Rd. and observed a vehicle make a WB turn onto US20 from Lear Nagle Rd.  The vehicle drove outside the lane of travel twice.  The vehicle was stopped and the driver was arrested for OVI.  He was later released to a sober ride.
