Auxiliary Unit
The North Ridgeville Auxiliary Police are a valuable and productive branch of the North Ridgeville Police Department. Auxiliary officers donate their time and talents to help maintain the safety and well being of our citizens, and perform many departmental duties that enhance the overall productivity of the police department.
Auxiliary officers assist with parades, Mayors Court security, the 4th of July fireworks, and many other specialized functions. They also conduct vacation watch home checks, assist with prisoner care, and open doors for citizens who have locked themselves out of their cars. 
The Auxiliary Police currently have a membership of thirteen officers. These officers routinely patrol the city in two person cars, and assist the North Ridgeville Police in providing service to the community.
The Auxiliary Police provide their services under the direction of North Ridgeville Police Detective Lt. Marti Garrow.
