Crocheting Club:
All levels welcome.  Whether you want to learn to crochet or just need a little help with a current project, this continuous clsss is for you.  Beginners will learn the basic stitches (chain, single and double crochet), choose a simple pattern for a scarf, blanket or accessory.  Those more experienced can get help with a difficult stitch or project.

Day:  Mondays / ongoing all year round
Time:  7:30p.m. - 8:30p.m.
Ages:  All ages welcomed
Fee:  FREE (bring your own yarn & hooks)

Dog Training Courses:  NEW
The Puppy and Beginner Sessions are introductory training classes.  The puppies class is for puppies up to six (6) months of age and the Beginner Class is for dogs and puppies older than six months.  These will concentrate on basic obedience including sit, stay, down, and come.  Socialization with people and other dogs will be an intergal part of this class as well as review of health, grooming and nutrition tips.  Correcting unwanted behaviors including jumping, barking, pulling on leash, chewing, and housebreaking are covered.  The Intermediate Calss is for dogs with prior introductory training, and focuses on dog obedience in a public setting.  This training will involve dealing with common distractions such as meeting strangers, other dogs, crowded areas and noise.  All pet owners must produce proof of current vaccinations for thier pet at the first class.  For more information please contact Marie - Josee Gatian at 216-224-2712.

Fall Coed Kickball League
NEW
Remember those elementary school days where the only thing on your mind was recess and a game of kickball with your friends?  You can relive those days with the NRPRD!  All games will be played on Thursday evenings at Shady Drive Complex.  The league will run for five (5) weeks consisting of doubleheader play for a total of ten (10) games.  Registration is taken on a first come, first pay basis.  The league will conssit of 12 teams.  Hurry into the NRPRD and register your team before it is too late.

Age(s):  18 years and older.  "11 H.S. Graduate
Fee:  $125.00 per team
*Umpire fee to be paid at field, $20.00 per game, only to be paid by home team during double header play.

You don't have to be a pro to play baseball in October.  League will run for (5) weeks with doubleheader play for a total of ten (10) games.  No tournamwent play due to weather constraints.  Reigstration is taken on a first come, first pay basis.  League fee covers site supervisor, softballs, and field prep.  Umpire payment will be made onsite.  Their will be a maximum of twelve (12) teams.
