Junior Pony Camp
You're not too young to have fun with ponies! You will play games, have story time, groom and play with the ponies and then RIDE them. Plus, you will get a special memory of you and your pony... a Polaroid picture to take home. Classes held rain or shine and registration is taken on a first come, first pay basis. Riders are required to wear long pants, flat shoes, and a helmet (bicycle). Classes are held at Pony Tale Farms, 13360 Cowely Road, Columbia Station, Ohio 44028. Summer Adventure Camp
Summer break is just around the corner and you don't have a babysitter. What are you going to do? North Ridgeville Summer Adventure Camp is the perfect place for your child. The camp will provide your child with opportunites to make new friends, play games, activites, make art projects, splash around in our splash pad, and enjoy a small snack and drink. Our camp councilors are CPR certified. Emergency medical forms must be completed and turned in before your child can attend. Be sure to pack a non-perishable lunch and drink, bringa bathing suit, towel and tennis shoes each day.

Children in grades K - 3rd have a blast learning the basics of football. Players are grouped by age, coached at their level of understanding, and play fun, low competiton games under adult supervision. All players will recieve a durable mesh football jersey and a trophy for participation. All instruction will be conducted by Jump Start Sports staff coaches. Players will learn the basic fundamentals of offense and defense, and will be introduced to sped and agility training. Parent coaches can assist in the instruction and will call the plays for their teams, but having our coaches lead the program will ensure that all teams recieve the same instruction in a planned and organized practice. Jump Start Sports staff will also officiate and supervise all games to ensure equal playing time, a rotation of players in various positions, and they will help teach within the context of the game.

Farm Day
Come enjoy a fun filled day on the farm visiting all the animals. We will put an emphasis on ponies and horses and will be able to groom them and take a ride on one. In addition, you can interact with our other farm members including a little educational background on them. Pet a goat, feed a chicken, check out the garden, take a nature walk, visit Danny the Duck, plus many other fun things going on at the farm. Youth Summer Tennis Lessons
The North Ridgeville Parks and Recreation Department will be offering tennis lessons this summer at the South Central Park tennis courts. Please look over the summer schedule of classes and stop by the NRPRD to register your son or daughter. If you don't have a racquet don't worry, Paramount Tennis Club will provide one for instruction. Class size will be limited to 10 students per class to provide participants with the most effective instruction. A minimum of 4 must be met for the class to run. Each session is 4 weeks long and held twice a week. If one class if cancelled due to inclement weather it will not be made up. Two or more classes will be made up either at the end of the session or rollover into the following session

The North Ridgeville Parks and Recreation Department will be hosting a 3 on 3 basketball tournament with games beginning/ending on Saturday, August 13. Games will begin at 9:00 am. This is a double elimination tournament with winner receiving a prize. Pre-registratiion is required, and is taken on a first come, first pay basis. Traveling tackle football is open to boys entering grades 5 and 6 (ages 11 and 12). This program is open to residnets who want to join one of the premier youth football programs in Lorain County.
