Welcome to the North Ridgeville Fire Department Museum! The fire department has great pride in our history and its preservation. In a combined effort with the City of North Ridgeville and the North Ridgeville Historical Society, the department maintains a fire museum which is located just to the east of Old Towne Hall. The Museum houses the 1931 Buffalo fire truck which was the department's first fire apparatus.

The department also takes great pride in our past and present personnel. A department roster of all past and present personnel is displayed on the wall inside the museum. We also hold an annual "Buffalo" party each August to celebrate the anniversary of the original delivery of the Buffalo fire truck. The party consists of current members preparing a steak dinner for all past members that would like to attend. Everyone shares old stories and the party is paid for by proceeds from North Ridgeville Firefighters, Local 2129.

The North Ridgeville Fire Museum contains pictures, tools, and displays that celebrate the history of our department, as well as, the fire service in general. The museum is open upon request for small community and school groups. If interested in a tour, please contact the North Ridgeville Fire Department at 440-327-5311.
